On a rainy morning amid a sea of white flowers, Ayomikun was given an intimate burial at the Ebony Vault, Ikoyi.

Buried according to White Garment Christian rites, the funeral full of young people, was solemn as many of the mourners were seen comforting each other.

Among them were stars like Busola Oke, Yomi Fabiyi, Iyabo Ojo, Ronke Oshodi-Oke and others.

Her younger sister, Dupe, was a little bit composed until her sister’s corpse was lowered into the ground. Dupe was inconsolable and kept on shouting, “What will I tell mummy?

Rest in Peace my only sister. I love you now and forever. We were just two and now you left me with mum. I’m sure you are in a better place now. I love you Ayomikun Ileriayo Motunrayo Omotanwa mi egbon kan to mo ni. Be my sister again in the next life.

Yomi Fabiyi, who also announced the death of actress Moji Olaiya a few weeks earlier posted the video of the service of songs on his Instagram page and prayed that Mama Surutu will receive the strength to bear the loss in these trying times.

He wrote: “God has prepared a place for you Ayo. You are part of the SAVE NIGERIA MOVIE INDUSTRY FAMILY. We went out together on several occasions with your mum just because we all believe and want a better movie industry.

“Your pains are now over, sweetie. Your mum sleeping inside the car in LASUTH is over, all complaints are over. You are now at a final resting mood. We will miss you.

“We celebrate you. I, uncle Yomi, celebrate you.

“In Save Nigeria Movie Industry Campaign (SAVE GROUP), our members and their immediate families are our priorities and our concerns any day anytime and in any circumstances.

“Till we meet to part no more, o di gba, Ayomikun Elizabeth Oladayo.

“My sweetie. Goodbye.
