Four Nassarawa State University Students Shot Dead Following Protest Over Water Scarcity. (SEE PHOTOS)

Four students of the institution have been killed this morning by unifrom military men. Report has it that there’s been no light in keffi for about 3 weeks now, which has made life very tough and unbearable for the students due to lack of water. As a result of this, the SUG (Students Union Governement) organized a peaceful rally to bring the sad situation to the awareness of the school authority.

While the Peaceful Rally was on, the Chief Security Officer of the School brought in troops of soldiers to stop the rally and tagged it “RIOT”. They shot at students and unconfirmed reports sayd about five students are dead and several others wounded. It was also reported that the soldiers went as far as breaking into the rooms/houses of the students to attack them.

The students are fighting back as we speak, some are running out of town and its fast becoming what it was tagged, A riot.

    The way our Nig uniform treat civilian is so inhuman. B4 u say Jark they hv killed. Nig govnt need to call them to order nd d chairman needs to be arrested
