Court Indictes Male Dentist on 14 charges of sexual abuse

A dentist practicing in Washington, DC, identified as Bilal Ahmed, was indicted this week for sexually abusing male patients while they were injected with nitrous oxide (laughing gas).  A spokesman for the D.C Superior Court said the charges include 14 felony counts of sexual abuse.

In May 2014, Ahmed was said to have performed dental work on a patient who had chipped a tooth at Universal Smiles DC, and administered nitrous oxide to him through a face mask. The mask fell off and the patient reportedly saw Ahmed forcing him to have oral sex. The incident was reported to the police by the patient. It was however, tracked down to two other male patients who claimed they were sexually assaulted by Ahmed. In addition to these allegations, one of Ahmed’s employees also claimed to habe been touched inappropriately.

Ahmed’s dental licenses in Washington and Maryland have since been suspended.
