Nigerian Army Arraign Three Kidnappers in Bauchi

Yesterday, a troop of 33 Brigade Nigerian Army, deployed at Forward Operation Base (FOB) Toro, Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi state, arrested 2 suspected kidnappers identified as Dayibu Abdullahi and Nasiru Adamu at Badiko village along Gumau road, Toro L.G.A, Bauchi.

According to a statement made by Army spokesman, Col. Sani Usman, a big bag containing the sum of N439,000 and other personal items were recovered from the suspects. Preliminary investigations show that the money found in their possession was their own share from the ransom of a recent kidnap saga.

Another suspected  kidnapper identified as Jibrin Dakam, was also nabbed that same day at Magama, Toro L.G.A, by the troops. Investigations have confirmed that he was formerly in their custody but escaped following the military Operation FOREST KUNAMA at Lame-Burra Forest. He was confirmed to be in charge of frequently supplying alcohol and other stimulants to the kidnappers.
